Fire Vs. Fire; Diamond Vs. Diamond

http://abnormalminds.blogspot.com/2010/08/2.html
"We are both the light; — the foundation of heat — undoubtedly. We caress ourselves with our own heat — we are warm toward each other — yet, I can ignite graciously with my own flames and same goes to you. We are naturally enthusiastic — always excited and interested at everything. And because we are both fires, we're typically, ALWAYS, ready to rage and ready to burn even against one another. I know that I blistered you very bad but your flame grows wilder which scalded me even more. I am so sorry I kindled the wick of our warm and receptive friendship. And I'm sorry because I'm just a fire — like you — and I wish I am not one. You can't fire with fire. I'll wait 'till I freeze and when that time came, I'll let your warm hands melt the ice surrounding  me so we can again light up and ignite our passion at everything."

Cooling down,
FIRE

"Precious we are, indeed. Invulnerable we are, it seems. Deep down the core, we hide ourselves to conceal the shining beast. With the sunshine, we glamorously shimmer. While under the night sky, we twinkle like those stars from above. Well, let's say you shine more than me but I'm much bigger than you. After you cut my vain surface, all I thought to do is grit my teeth. Disdainful as it really seems but it's just the way it is. Diamond once scratched is still the same diamond from before. But then, my fortitude weighs more than my own self and that spirit treasures you so much that I choose to bury myself — the diamond — deep down under the ground again just to see you shine even brighter. I'm not going to cut you; you yourself will. And when you learn how to hurt yourself, that time, I'll dig myself out of the ground and together, we'll shimmer in the morning and twinkle in the evening for the second time.

Your humblest buddy,
DIAMOND
